Mission

At St. John’s Early Childhood Center, our mission is to nurture each child’s natural curiosity through love, play, and exploration in a Christian setting. We create a welcoming environment that celebrates diversity and builds relationships to help children and families feel included and respected.

Vision

In a constantly changing world, St. John’s aims to equip our young learners with empathy, perseverance, and a lifelong love of learning. Children will be able to enter the next phase of their life feeling confident and knowing how to be a respectful part of the community around them.

Children Will..

Experiment with a variety of art mediums and materials
Develop language and literacy skills
Have number, science and reading readiness activities
Utilize Handwriting Without Tears curriculum
Participate in STEM Activities- (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
Interact with peers in small and large group settings
Enjoy music, movement activities and yoga
Have gross motor play in indoor and outdoor settings
Learn to express ideas and feelings
Develop a positive attitude about school

About Our Center

St. John’s Early Childhood Center has been providing a nurturing Christian environment for young children for over 35 years. We offer excellence in our programs, a staff of early childhood professionals, and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
